About DR Micro

Thirty years of plain talk about computers.

DR Micro Computers is a family-owned computer shop on Beechmont Avenue in Anderson Township. Since 1994 we've been the place Cincinnati brings the PC that won't boot, the laptop that's too slow, and the question nobody else will answer without a sales pitch.

Doug Neiheisel, owner, and host of Geek Talk radio since 1994

Doug Neiheisel opened DR Micro in 1994 and has been at the same Beechmont Avenue location since 2001. He's also the voice of Geek Talk, the live call-in computer show that has run on Cincinnati radio since the same year. That's the whole philosophy in a sentence: explain it plainly, fix it quickly, and don't sell people things they don't need.

Cincinnati Magazine named DR Micro the Best of the City for PC service. Angi and Angie's List have handed us their Super Service Award. Frankly, it's humbling. Our official slogan has always been "All computer businesses suck. We suck less." We stand by it.

All computer businesses suck. We suck less.
